The South African National Parks SEAM Team gave a demonstration of their K9 unit's abilities to the Hill's Pet Food group at the Newlands Forest base. Hill's Pet Nutrition is the supplier of all dog food used by K9 units within SANParks. They recently renewed their sponsorship and ensured the timely delivery of the food. Well-trained dogs such as the Bloodhound, Belgian Shepherd, or Malinois, breeds are perfectly suited to track poachers in the field and detect firearms, ammunition and wildlife products that enter and exit through park gates.
